Can I Handle the Seasons of My Life?

Some songs have a way of meeting us exactly where we are. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac is one of those songs. At its heart is a deeply human question: Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Life rarely unfolds the way we expect. Relationships change. Children grow up. Careers take unexpected turns. Our bodies age, our priorities shift, and sometimes the very things that once defined us no longer seem to fit. Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief, and the unsettling feeling of standing on unfamiliar ground.

We may find ourselves wondering: Am I strong enough for what comes next? Who am I becoming? Can I let go of what was and embrace what is?

These questions aren't signs of weakness. They're part of being human.

At Desta Therapy, we believe that navigating life's seasons doesn't mean having everything figured out. Sometimes, it means giving ourselves permission to grieve what we've lost, acknowledge what feels uncertain, and discover new possibilities for what lies ahead.

Therapy can provide a safe place to explore these transitions, reconnect with what matters most, and develop the confidence to move forward, even when the path isn't entirely clear.

Perhaps the goal isn't to handle every season perfectly. Perhaps it's to learn to meet each season with greater self-compassion, resilience, and openness to the person we're becoming.

You don't have to navigate life's seasons alone.

Whatever season you're experiencing right now, there is room for healing, growth, and new beginnings. And even when life feels unfamiliar, there is still the possibility of reclaiming joy and learning to live fully in the moment.

At Desta Therapy, we're here to help you do just that.

Reclaim Joy. Live Fully.
