Hi, I’m Joss Leal, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA and am currently pursuing a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. At Desta Therapy, I offer existential, trauma-informed counseling rooted in empathy, ethics, and authenticity — available in person in San Antonio and virtually across Texas.

My approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard and a deep respect for the unique path each client walks. I work with individuals navigating:

- Grief and loss
- Psychosis and altered states
- Depression and anxiety
- Life transitions and emotional challenges
- General emotional support and personal growth

Outside of therapy, I love playing piano, singing (my mom's my #1 fan), and gaming — I’m a Zenyatta main in Overwatch (experience tranquility 🧘). We all need companionship on our journey toward healing. I’d be honored to walk alongside you with care, presence, and hope.
